Our company recently worked in Benin, particularly in Porto Novo, the country’s administrative capital. Our mission consisted of training focused on ‘Maintaining independence and preventing risks for elderly people at home through occupational therapy'.
Occupational therapist Mathilde Rousset delivered this training to three professionals who already work in the homes of elderly people who are beginning to lose their independence.
These professionals will be responsible for training the carers at Age-Well Benin, a personal services company and partner of Senior Conseil International.
Theoretical input and practical aspects were covered throughout the course.
It should be noted that the training material was developed jointly by Mathilde Rousset and Amélie Dumont, the two occupational therapists working for our company
